Poets United Midweek Motif ~ Mother Tongue Going to UK Nottingham to be exact was a dream come true really, in fact excited to see Robin Hoods Forest n  Castle and birthplace of DH Lawrence  soon landed on historical Heathrow   expecting to see all English but was  utterly surprised to see, many Chinese no sounds of English but just Cantonese well, lets wait and see...said Churchill... waiting for passport I saw a blue turban  uniformed figure coming walking smartly,  suddenly he spoke  'Kaur e, Kaure ,aj gaddi naiyun aani'   Oh he was speaking pure Punjabi'' Oh am I really in England's London? I was beginning to have some doubts, I  looked around, late at night the lounge  was empty, this being the last flight, 'Chalo chalo' '(walk) someone said 'Oh  who is this speaking Urdu... now I was sure I was on the wrong plane which had landed somewhere in the Subcontinen...

cleared stacked and sorted yet returning,efforts aborted painful limbs strained back mind and soul under a terror attack' Ah' Papers in stack smiling sliding distorted ... leave them alone for a while take coffee soup or ' chaye' play a slow tune on wi-fi   but well, Oh I wonder why how does this happen I cry tears drop feet swell hairs fly' am I correct ? Oh English Dear why do you create this fear  Grammar error writing clear... papers I love and pencils more draw compose poems or prose keeping all nothing to dispose but soon the piles become miles high or low up and down they go it is all like a dump before you know papers piling ...teacup smiling... papers piling poems a calling... looked all around,  kept chawing not realizing that  my jaw was tiring- lor! just look at the floor makes me all sore O Lord please send me a  Markhor, to nibble away, and gift me a claymore to slash clean the rough  tough rubbish, enough Enough' I say It is warm, work heavy I am weary and sweaty Oh the vacuum cleaner feels loaded and 'meaner' upstairs and downstairs,hey  what was that? I sway the hose fell to disobey Oh horror, my clothes ? O machine' like the knave of hearts-took them clean away-there ended my chores of the day....
